CHURCHVILLE HOUSE

       Micklefield Tenants and Residents Association.
                       Born out of desperation to some extent.
Churchville House is the last meeting place in the village where a free exchange of views can take place. The Association was formed in 1990 with the backing of our Ward Councillors and estate managers (Aire Valley Homes). Their support has been continuous, with grants and finance for specific projects. As with all community meetings the numbers have varied and have been affected by changing threats to village life, through crime. environment,  maintenence of council property, and quality of life in general.  At the centre of a sheltered housing complex it is inevitable that most users of the facility are elderly, but all are welcome.
